Discover the acclaimed wines that are made just outside of Atlanta during the fourth annual Dahlonega Wine Trail Weekend in August.
On Saturday, August 22nd and Sunday, August 23rd, head north to sip wines at five wineries and savor the beautiful vineyards and mountains of Lumpkin County.
Pick up your passport at the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Visitors Center in downtown Dahlonega or at the first winery you visit, then enjoy tastes and festivities at Frogtown Cellars, Three Sisters Vineyards and Winery, Montaluce Winery & Estates, Wolf Mountain Vineyards and Winery and Cavender Creek Vineyards & Winery.
Each passport costs $30 and includes a souvenir wine glass (for the first 1,200 people). Many tasting rooms in downtown Dahlonega will be offering discounts and specials for passport holders.
Maps and visitor guides are available at the Visitors Center, located at 13 South Park Street in Dahlonega. For more information including other activities and restaurants, or lodging and transportation options, visit www.Dahlonega.org.
