Miami Spice Returns with Kickoff Party

Miami Spice, the best way to experience Miami’s many restaurants without spending a fortune returns this August for its ninth year.

From August 1st through September 30th, around 100 restaurants in the greater Miami area will be offering discounted three-course lunch and dinner menus.  An appetizer, entrée and dessert will cost $22 for lunch and $35 for dinner (excluding tax and gratuity).

New this year will be a kickoff party and fundraiser, to be held on Saturday, July 31st at the Miami Beach Convention Center.  From 7pm to 10pm guests can sample a variety of delicious offerings from Miami Spice participating restaurants and mingle with local celebrity chefs.  VIP guests can enter an hour earlier and enjoy an open bar and complimentary valet service at a reception hosted by Miami Spice sponsors American Express, Moët Hennessy USA and Stella Artois.

Tickets for the kickoff party are $35 dollars in advance and $50 on the day of the event.  VIP tickets are $75 in advance and $100 on the day of the event.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit Share Our Strength and Madison’s Wish.
